Swym Hack '25 Ignites Innovation
48 Hours of AI Agents (& MCP), Collaboration, and Karaoke!
After two successful online editions, Swym recently hosted Swym Hack '25, our first-ever offline internal hackathon, held at Swym's Bangalore office.
For 48 intense hours, 35 Swymmers across 7 teams dove headfirst into the theme: "AI Agents & Data – Enhancing Swym Operations."
The mission? To leverage the power of AI, to build intelligent solutions improving our internal workflows, efficiency, and decision-making.
A Unique Approach to Teamwork
In a unique approach designed to maximize collaboration, participants registered individually. Organizing committee then meticulously formed 7 balanced teams, blending diverse skills and experiences based on function while ensuring randomized grouping to spark novel interactions. This fostered fresh connections and diverse perspectives right from the start. Leading up to the main event, these newly formed teams brainstormed ideas aligned with the hackathon's theme.
The 48-Hour Sprint: Code, Camaraderie, and Cup Noodles!
The countdown began! The Bangalore office transformed into a hub of focused energy. Whiteboards filled up, keyboards clattered, and the air buzzed with collaborative problem-solving. Teams fueled by a steady supply of snacks - everything from protein bars and makhana to the occasional late-night Korean cup noodles!
We shared meals, belted out tunes during an impromptu karaoke night, played music, and even pulled a memorable all-nighter, proving that innovation thrives on connection and fun just as much as code. The custom Swym Hack '25 laptop stickers and classic Swym t-shirts were quickly donned, becoming badges of honor.
The Grand Finale: Demos That Dazzled
The culmination of the 48-hour sprint was the demo session. Each team presented their AI-powered solution, showcasing their prototypes and explaining the potential impact on Swym's operations.
The results were outstanding. The judges were impressed by the creativity, technical depth, polish, and potential real-world impact of the projects. The quality was so consistently high that the judges made an on-the-spot decision to introduce an additional 2nd Runner-Up prize – a true testament to the incredible effort poured in by every single team!
And the Champions Are…
After careful deliberation (and much difficulty choosing!), the winners of Swym Hack '25 were crowned:

🗳️ People’s Choice Award: The Mad Men - Won the hearts (and votes!) of their peers with infectious energy and flair.
